Magnificent Sintra Elopement on the Cliffs

Amanda and Shawn flew all the way from Thunder Bay in Canada to Elope in the wild and wonderful Sintra Hills in Portugal. Sintra is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and hosts a unique blend of natural beauty, rugged panoramic cliffs, historic palaces and gardens.

Amanda and Shawn chose to elope at one of the most Westerly points of mainland Europe, Praia da Ursa, which is located very close to Cabo da Roca. Their ceremony was officiated by Sam Gardener a wonderful celebrant here in Portugal.

Eloping in Portugal allows couples to fully embrace the uniqueness and beauty of their union in nature. Amanda and Shawn's ceremony was private and picturesque in every way which allowed them to soak up their time together and feel at ease and comfortable.

After their ceremony we hiked to Praia da Ursa to take some images with the iconic sea stacks. With the cliffs and beach to ourselves we took our time to enjoy the beach and capture natural and intimate moments between the newlyweds.
